Golden Words

CANADA'S OTHER NATIONAL NEWSPAPER FOR OVER 30 YEARS

Golden Words is published weekly by the Queen’s Engineering Society.

The opinions expressed therein are not necessarily those of the Queen’s Engineering Society or of its members -- but, man, are they hilarious.  Press Nite™ is held (almost) every Sunday during the Fall and Winter terms in the EngSoc Lounge, located in Clark Hall (pretend you’re going to the Pub, only hang a right).

"We start at noon and keep going until it’s done (i.e. the wee hours of Monday morning). All literate persons are welcome, regardless of year, faculty, or discipline. (Honest! In fact, relatively few of our Staff are in Engineering). In tribute to your toil and wit, we offer wholesome 'snax' and thirst-quenching 'drinx,' and no money need change hands. Comments can be forwarded to the editors or through the Golden Words Review Board. Both groups can be contacted at the Engineering Society, Clark Hall, at (613) 545-6008. Advertising deadline is Friday 5:00pm."

Golden Words has published tonnes of material on the Web, and, in the interests of not having our pants sued off (see below), Click here to visit their Web Site on the EngSoc Server.  Note: This material is not found on the Legend of the Greasepole CD, and you will need an active Internet connection to view it.

The Legend of the Greasepole Team would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Golden Words '97-'98 for their help publicizing The Legend of the Greasepole.  You guys rock.  Especially you, Zoë.

We love you so much we even put the accent on the ë in your name, Zoë.  There, we did it again.
