Peace Composed is an experimental demo that employs a
galvanic skin response (GSR) algorithm similar to the one used for Relax
To Win.
A piece of music, consisting of seven distinct
layers, plays in the background. The user is initially presented
with only one layer, and must relax to drift deeper into the others.
As with Relax to Win, stress must be overcome in order to unlock all the
layers of music.
Future Extensions
An extension of the model would allow
different users to control separate parts of the piece, introducing them
into the mix when the correct biometric state is reached. Imagine 30
people, all controlling separate parts of an orchestral composition,
fading in and out according to their physiological responses.
Peace Composed represents the first stage in
the development of a system that will allow dynamic composition moderated
by biometrics.
