I’m an independent IT consultant with expertise in .NET web, line-of-business and interactive installation development. My background is in artificial intelligence, graphics, interactive installations, and a dash of biometrics. You can see examples of some recent work through the projects page.
I have also trained developers, architects and designers who work with .NET for over 4 years, both as a consultant and through my role in Microsoft’s Developer and Platform Group.
My recent area of expertise is Microsoft User Experience technologies. I have worked on projects integrating Silverlight, the Windows Presentation Foundation, or both. Clients have included an international financial institution, small- and medium-sized businesses, and Microsoft. If you are looking to create an amazing user experience and seek consulting or training, please contact me through this site.
I am based in Toronto, Canada, and am currently working independently through my consultancy, Carrington Technologies. I’ve kept this blog while working independently.
While I was working with Microsoft, I was based in Dublin, Ireland. My MSDN Blog chronicles my time working there.
Subscribe to my blog and you can be subjected to my tastes in artificial intelligence, user experience, photography, and the occasional moose. You’re very welcome to contact me through the Contact link or by sending me e-mail at rob at robburke dot net.
