Despite the fact that custom shaders are an "edge case" that won't affect 99% of line-of-business app scenarios, the fact the WPF team is giving us this support for the cases where it will let us add "special sauce" to an app underscores for me the fact I've bet on the right horse -- both for building line-of-business apps, AND for sheer take-advantage-of-the-platform graphical horsepower.</description>

Then again I'm biased - I'm developing a WPF based digital photo workflow/management system and it sounds almost custom made for the job :)</description>
