Despite the fact that custom shaders are an &quot;edge case&quot; that won&#039;t affect 99% of line-of-business app scenarios, the fact the WPF team is giving us this support for the cases where it will let us add &quot;special sauce&quot; to an app underscores for me the fact I&#039;ve bet on the right horse -- both for building line-of-business apps, AND for sheer take-advantage-of-the-platform graphical horsepower.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m definately in agreement on this one. Wow! I am amazed more people aren&#039;t discussing this considering the number of times I&#039;ve seen this feature requested. Then again I&#039;m biased - I&#039;m developing a WPF based digital photo workflow/management system and it sounds almost custom made for the job :)</description>
